Jan Cleeren, of Gortsleeuw, Flanders, an Anabaptist martyr, by trade a hertekens-maker(?), was drowned at the Steen castle at Antwerp, Belgium on 9 August 1560. He is probably identical with Jan de Tasmaker, found in the Offer des Heeren and later martyr books, including the Martyrs' Mirror.
