Adriaen Aersen, a Dutch Anabaptist martyr, was a weaver by trade. He lived for some years in Schiedam (Dutch province of South Holland), had been rebaptized by Gerrit van Benschop, and took into his house many Anabaptist "leeraars en herdoopers" (ministers and rebaptizers). He was beheaded in Zierikzee, Dutch province of Zeeland on 8 May 1535.
