(11 mi.) west of Nowy Dwór Gdański (Tiegenhof), and 27 km. (17 mi.) south-east of the regional capital Gdańsk (Danzig).

In the 1776 Prussian census there were seven Mennonite families listed in Palschau with the following surnames: Claasen, Conrad, Dick, and Ens. In 1820, the village had 289 residents, including 31 Mennonites.
The Flemish Mennonites of Palschau were members of the Ladekopp Mennonite Church.
