Quirijn (Quirinus) Pietersz, born at Kruiningen, Dutch province of Zeeland, an Anabaptist martyr who lived at Groningen and died at the stake at Amsterdam, 16 April 1545, because he was (re)baptized. It was Menno Simons who had baptized him in 1539 in Groningen. He steadfastly confessed his faith.
