Maeyken Pieters, a Mennonite woman, wife of the martyr Willeboort Cornelisz, was arrested on 19 January 1562, at [[Ghent (Oost-Vlaanderen, Belgium)|Ghent]], [[Belgium|Belgium]], and imprisoned in the Gravesteen castle of Ghent.
