The Harlan Mennonite Fellowship in Harlan, [[Kentucky (USA)|Kentucky]], USA, was a small Mennonite church community that emerged from Mennonite Disaster Service and Mennonite Central Committee projects in the area after a disastrous flood, and during cleanup and rebuilding. Other leadership came from persons connected to the Harlan Appalachian Regional Hospital. Early participants included Dr. Richard and Elaine Stoltzfus, and Bill and Joyce Zuercher. The group held its initial Sunday morning service on 4 September 1977.
