Holden Hutterite Colony in Holden, Alberta, was founded in 1970 (Hofer says 1971) as a division from the Cayley Hutterite Colony.

A daughter colony of the Holden Hutterite Colony is the Cleardale Hutterite Colony (Cleardale, Alberta, Canada) and Stony Creek Hutterite Colony (St. Paul, Alberta, Canada).

In 2017 the Holden Hutterite Colony was a Dariusleut colony.
