Altona Hutterite Colony was founded in 2005 as a division from the Fordham Hutterite Colony. In 2012 the Altona Hutterite Colony was a Schmiedeleut undefined colony, which likely means it was not affiliated with either group but related to both groups. The minister was Zach Wollman Sr. and the secretary was Zach Wollman Jr.
