Franciscus Mosellanus, a Reformed theologian, one of the most influential clergymen during the rule of the Calvinist Elector Friedrich III of the Palatinate, Germany. He was the deacon of the Heiliggeistkirche in Heidelberg 1568-1570, and inspector of the Bacharach district 1570-1573. He was appointed to represent the national church at the Frankenthal disputation, but he did not actually take part in the debate (28 May-9 June 1571) with the Anabaptists.
