Claes Sybrands van Wessanen, was a Dutch Anabaptist martyr, who had joined the Anabaptists who sailed from Amsterdam to Hasselt, in order to go on to Münster. He was arrested at Bergklooster and sentenced to death by the Court of Holland on 3 June 1534 and then beheaded at The Hague.
