Adriaen Jorisse, who is called Pieter Jorisz in theMartyrs' Mirror, was beheaded at Zierikzee in the Dutch province of Zeeland on 4 September 1536, although he was originally from the Dutch town of Brouwershaven. He was rebaptized by Lenaert van Antwerpen a few months before his execution.
