Westhofen, a market town in the Worms district in Germany. Before Lutheranism found entry into Westhofen in 1540, Anabaptism was represented here in the 1520s by Wolf Fuchs. The priest Jakob Ebersmann states that according to the court records Wolf Fuchs was charged with Anabaptism and heresy before the court of the Inquisition at Alzey, and was excommunicated. He had been baptized by "Master Jacobus in Worms."
