Pieter Jans(z), an Anabaptist martyr, a native of Blankenham, Dutch province of Overijssel, confessed that he had been baptized about 1536 at Oldersum in East Friesland, Germany, by Menno Simons, and was beheaded at Kampen, Dutch prov­ince of Overijssel, on 14 June 1540. Further particulars are lacking.
