Henry Hannon, an Anabaptist martyr, was burned at the stake at Antwerp, Belgium on 28 February 1573, together with Lynken Baillaerts. He was charged with attending forbidden meetings (of the Mennonites), and possessing and reading forbidden books. He was not yet baptized, but confessed that he desired (re)baptism.
