Berthold Heinrich Brockes (born 22 September 1680, died 16 January 1747) was a city senator of Hamburg and author of the famous Irdisches Vergnügen in Gott, a collection of religious observations on nature. He was a friend of Jakob Denner, the noted Mennonite preacher, and wrote a poem on his death.
