She was born at West-Vleteren in [[Flanders (Belgium)|Flanders]], was the wife of Kaerle de Vos, and was rebaptized in 1536. She was connected with the congregation at [[Ghent (Oost-Vlaanderen, Belgium)|Ghent]] and probably lived there.
