Jan Dirksz was of Aalsmeer, Dutch province of North Holland, in whose house Jacob van Campen, bishop of the congregation of Amsterdam, had preached before March 1534. He was burned at the stake at The Hague on 10 April 1534, the same day as another Jan Dirksz from Aalsmeer.
