Anthonius Ruardus Fink died 27 October 1834 at [[Winterswijk (Gelderland, Netherlands)|Winterswijk]]. He was a Dutch Mennonite minister who had previously been a Lutheran pastor at [[Pekela (Groningen, Netherlands)|Pekela]] and at [[Kampen (Overijssel, Netherlands)|Kampen]]. In 1795 he resigned and became a bookseller at [[Leeuwarden (Friesland, Netherlands)|Leeuwarden]], since he was a [[Patriots and Mennonites in the Netherlands|Patriot]] and deeply interested in politics. He soon became a representative of the Frisian people in the legislature, and thereupon a judge in the Court of Friesland.
