John P. Mast (1826-11 June 1888) was born near Elverson, Pennsylvania, and was a lifelong resident of Caernarvon Township, Berks County, Pennsylvania. He was a great-grandson of Bishop Jacob Mast and was himself an able and faithful leader in the same district where his great grandfather had served for 22 years.
