Newdale Hutterite Colony in Milo, Alberta, was founded in 1950 as a division from the Rock Lake Hutterite Colony (Coaldale, Alberta, Canada).
Daughter colonies of the Newdale Hutterite Colony include: Riverbend Hutterite Colony (Mossleigh, Alberta, Canada); and Sky Light Hutterite Colony (Vulcan, Alberta, Canada).
In 2024 the Newdale Hutterite Colony was a Lehrerleut colony.
