Daughter colonies of the Grand Hutterite Colony include: Brantwood Hutterite Colony (Oakville, Manitoba, Canada); and Grass River Hutterite Colony (Glenella, Manitoba, Canada);
In 2021 the Grand Hutterite Colony was a Schmiedeleut Group 2 colony.
