Veteran Hutterite Colony in Veteran, Alberta, was founded in 1955 (Hofer says 1956[1]) as a division from the West Raley Hutterite Colony.
Daughter colonies of the Veteran Hutterite Colony include: Pleasant Valley Hutterite Colony (Clive, Alberta, Canada); Gadsby Hutterite Colony (Hackett, Alberta, Canada); and Lougheed Hutterite Colony (Lougheed, Alberta, Canada).
In 2023 the Veteran Hutterite Colony was a Dariusleut colony.
