An extract of this booklet and some biographical notes on Louwer are found in Maatschoen's <em>Aanhangzel. </em>Louwer, who was a champion of strict Mennonite principles, was a representative of the Amsterdam congregation in the Flemish conferences at Haarlem in June 1649 and [[Leiden (Zuid-Holland, Netherlands)|Leiden]] in June 1660. He was a friend of [[Braght, Tieleman Jansz van (1625-1664)|T.
