With some relatives and adherents they lived at Emlichem and, calling themselves "de vrome Kinderen van Emlichem," they plundered the farms. They were Anabaptists only in name, followers ofJan van Batenburg; in the sentence they are called "adherents of the Crediting group and Davidjorists."
