Old Elm Spring Hutterite Colony near Parkston, South Dakota, was founded in 1998 (Newdale data[1] says 1997)as a division from the New Elm Spring Hutterite Colony. In 2023 the Old Elm Spring Hutterite Colony was a Schmiedeleut Group 2 colony.
