Hillside Hutterite Colony in Justice, Manitoba, was founded in 1959 (Hofer says 1958) as a division from the Rosedale Hutterite Colony (Elie, Manitoba, Canada).

A daughter colony of the Hillside Hutterite Colony is the Treesbank Hutterite Colony (Wawanesa, Manitoba, Canada).

In 2023 the Hillside Hutterite Colony was a Schmiedeleut Group 2 colony.
