The Mennonite Christian Fellowship, Still Pond, Maryland, USA began in November 1954 as a church plant originating in the Neffsville Mennonite Church. Hershey and Ruth Balmer moved to the Chestertown area in February 1954 to work at planting a church. They held a Bible study with Chris and Katie Beiler who had moved within seven miles of the Balmers.
Initially, the new group met in an Episcopalian church, followed by renting the Still Pond Community Center. The congregation's own church building north of Chestertown was dedicated on 8 September 1968. At this point, it took the name Lakeview Mennonite Church. About 1990 the congregation changed its name to Lakeview Christian Fellowship.
The Mennonite Yearbook no longer listed the congregation in 1993.
