Ma Destinée is a congregation of recent Haitian immigrants who began renting space for worship at Hochma (Montreal, Quebec) in 2018. The group was led by the pastoral couple of Rheau Jean-Claude and Marjory Brutus. It has the vision to be a beacon of hope for their wider community.

In 2021 Ma Destinée was a small congregation of approximately 25 individuals but saw an increase in attendance during the COVID-19 pandemic as community members sought connections online.

The congregation has maintained an active prayer and Bible study ministry, run children’s day camps in the summer, and assisted a children’s ministry in Haiti. Marjory and Rheau also operated MMB Coaching, a Christocentric multidisciplinary teaching center, that focused on couples, young adults, and children.

Ma Destinée joined Mennonite Church Eastern Canada as a congregation with provisional membership in April 2021.
