Jasper de Schoenmaker (shoemaker), official name Gaspard Deken or de Decke, an Anabaptist martyr, was burned at the stake at Hondschoote in Flanders, Belgium on 4 April 1562. Six other persons suffered martyrdom with him. Jasper was born at Hasebroeck (French Flanders).
