Mang (Manng) Kager (Karger) (van Braght's Martyrs' Mirror, has Mankager), a journeyman shoemaker of Füssen, Bavaria, a Hutterite martyr, was seized in 1529 with two brethren and four sisters in Fill in the Adige, Austria. On 19 November they were cross-examined and then executed. Mang Kager confessed that he had been baptized by Georg Blaurock; he considered the Mass, infant baptism, transubstantiation, worship of the saints, and the confessional worthless. Christ is the mediator between God and man. "What he confessed with his mouth he would also testify to with his blood; he would not abandon his faith, but would persist in it to the end."
