Jan Gerrits, in the first half of the 17th century a preacher of the Uckowallists (Groningen Old Flemish) in Amsterdam, who had separated from the Flemish at Groningen in 1637. He was one of the speakers on the side of Jan Luies in the debate against Pieter Jansz Twisck at Hoorn in 1622. In 1641 he published Een spieghel des gheloofs, in which is found a Confession of the Groningen Old Flemish, and in 1641 also Een Vermaenboeckjen (which some scholars attribute: to Jan Gerrits van Emden).
