Wastl Anfang (also called Bastl Schmid and Sensenschmidt), a Hutterite missionary, was chosen preacher at Neumühl in Moravia on 20 February 1581, sent to Tyrol in 1584, and later again served as a missionary in Tyrol. Against him and Hans Zuckenhammer the Bavarian duke William V issued a mandate on 27 February 1587, offering a reward of 100 guilders for their capture. But they did not fall into the hands of the Bavarian government. Anfang died 2 December 1602 at Nikolsburg, Moravia.
