Johann Willms, a milling industrialist of Halbstadt, Molotschna, Russia, was a significant leader in economical and cultural life of the Mennonites before and after the Russian Revolution of 1917. He was the chairman of the Bureau der Molotschnaer Mennonitischen Vereinigung and cochairman of the Allgemeiner Mennonitische Kongress of 1917.
