Pieter Leydecker, an Anabaptist martyr, was inhumanly tortured and beheaded with two brethren and a sister at Zierikzee, Dutch province of Zeeland, on 4 September 1536. This is mentioned by van Braght, but the name given here is not quite correct. This martyr's name was probably Jan Jansz(e), also called Hansken Schalydecker; he was a native of Tongeren in Belgium.
