Besides the village of Petershagen in West Prussia and Petershagen on the Molotschna, there was also a Mennonite congregation in Petershagen on the Weser in the principality of Minden, Germany 52° 23′ 0″ N, 8° 58′ 0″ E). This congregation is found in the Dutch Naamlijst 1766-1810. The congregation is said to have been founded by emigrant Swiss Mennonites.
