Van Cleeff was a Dutch Mennonite family, of which the following members went into the ministry: Laurens van Cleeff of [[Zwolle (Overijssel, Netherlands)|Zwolle]], serving at [[Borne (Overijssel, Netherlands)|Borne]] 1809-1859; his <em>Afscheids-rede</em> of 15 November 1857 was published at Zwolle in 1858.
