Paradise Mennonite Church (Mennonite Church), located near Reid, Maryland, four miles north of Hagerstown. Services were first conducted in a schoolhouse near by in 1892-97, when a brick church was erected on the southeast corner of the Christian Eshleman farm, who also granted the land. In 1925 the building was enlarged and again in 1947. The ministers of the Miller Mennonite Church, of which it is a branch, have pastoral oversight. Irvin S. Shank was the minister in charge in 1956.
