His son Gerrit Boothamer (1725-1790) was a pastor at [[Hoorn, Den (Noord-Holland, Netherlands)|Den Hoorn]] 1749-1751 and [[Middelburg (Zeeland, Netherlands)|Middelburg]] 1751-d. 1790.
