Lysken (Luchtens or Lichtens), an Anabaptist martyr, was burned at the stake on 6 October 1573 at Antwerp, Belgium, with Maeyken Goossens, Jenneken van den Velde, and Maeyken van Dissenbeke. Particulars are lacking except the information that Lysken was a native of Tongeren in the bishopric of Liége, Belgium. Lysken and her fellow martyrs are celebrated in a hymn, found in the Rotteriamsch Lied-Boeck: "Och vrienden al te samen, hoort" (Ye friends all together, hear).
