Thysken and his wife Mariken Vrencken died as Anabaptist martyrs. They were drowned at Stockheim "int Lant van Ludich" (Liege in Belgium?). The year of their execution is unknown; it happened before 1547 according to information given by the martyr Metken, who was their sister-in-law.
