Morning Star Church of God in Christ, Mennonite (Mifflinburg, Pennsylvania, USA)
The Morning Star Church of God in Christ, Mennonite congregation near Mifflinburg, Pennsylvania, USA was established in 1965. The congregation started after tent meetings and Bible studies were held in the Mifflinburg area.
Early converts to the Church of God in Christ, Mennonite attended the Rock Haven congregation 60 miles away. After Minister John N. Penner and his family moved to the area in April 1965, the group began to meet in homes. As the group grew, it began construction of a church in 1969; it was dedicated on 11 April 1971.
The church also operates the Morning Star Mennonite School.
In 2020 the congregation was part of the Church of God in Christ, Mennonite. The ministers were Israel Wengerd, David Kurtz, and John M. Kurtz.
