Yearbook of the General Conference Mennonite Church
Yearbook of the General Conference Mennonite Church, from 1895 to 1930 published as Mennonite Yearbook and Almanac, publisher Eastern District Mennonite Conference at Quakertown, PA to 1924, and the General Conference Mennonite Publication Board through the Mennonite Book Concern at Berne, IN, 1924-30. Up to 1928 it contained historical material, in addition to church statistics and the annual almanac material prepared by L. J. Heatwole, which later was discontinued in 1930. In 1895-1952 it was usually a 48-page issue (first issues 40 pp.), thereafter increasing in size because of a much enlarged statistical section, the 1958 number having 92 pages; with 1946, however, the title was changed to Handbook of Information of the General Conference of the Mennonite Church of North America. The format has been approximately 6.5 x 9 throughout its history, with minor variations.
