The Word of Life Mennonite Church was founded in 2005 in South Hutchinson, Kansas. The church joined the Biblical Mennonite Alliance in August 2007.

In 2015 the leading minister was LaVerne Stoltzfus and the associate pastor was Steven Miller. The congregational membership was 42 and the average weekly attendance was 65.
