Wieringermeer, a Dutch polder reclaimed in 1936 in the former Zuiderzee (now IJssel Lake). At first the pastor of Hippolytushoef was in charge of the Mennonites living on this polder, who organ­ized into an independent congregation on 18 October 1942, served by the pastor of Twisk. In 1958 the baptized membership numbered 52.
