White Rock Hutterite Colony was founded in 1964 as a division from the Rosedale Hutterite Colony (Milltown, South Dakota, USA).

A daughter colony of the White Rock Hutterite Colony is the Spring Prairie Hutterite Colony (Hawley, Minnesota, USA).

In 2023 the White Rock Hutterite Colony was a Schmiedeleut Group 2 colony.
