Volk, Jörg (d. 1528)

Jörg Volk, a radical Anabaptist of Franconia, was in Augsburg at the time of the Martyr Synod in August 1527. He was executed in Bamberg in Jan­uary 1528. He was accused in 1530 by Marx Mayr, at the latter's trial, of having advocated community of wives at a meeting in Thuringia in 1527.
