Texhoma Mennonite Church (Texhoma, Texas, USA)
The Texhoma Mennonite Church near Texhoma, Texas, USA was established in 1995. The congregation started when families began to move to this area of the Texas-Oklahoma panhandle in 1994. They found farmland available for growing alfalfa, corn, and milo. Some of the families lived near Guymon, Oklahoma, and the first worship service was held in a home there on 24 July 1994.
The congregation formally organized on 13 June 1995. Over the summer months, an old hardware building was rented, fixed up, and used as a church and school. Later they met in a building in Texhoma, and in about 2015 built a church southeast of Texhoma, Texas.
In 2020 the congregation was part of the Church of God in Christ, Mennonite. The ministers were Andy Wedel and Darwin Koehn.
