Haeyes Syouck, a citizen of Leeuwarden in Friesland, Netherlands, was present with Frans Cuyper when Menno Simons preached in a field near Leeuwarden in 1542. On 14 November 1542, Syouck was sentenced to banishment from the territory of Leeuwarden. Syouck was probably not a Mennonite.
