The Swalwell Country Church near Acme, Alberta completed a building program in 1994. The congregation began as a daughter congregation of the Linden Church of God in Christ, Mennonite.

Minister Ray Koehn served in 2001 as a congregational leader. In 2010 the ministers were Cornie Wiebe, Gideon Berniko, and Ray Koehn.

The congregation also operates the Kneehill Christian School together with the Linden Church of God in Christ, Mennonite and the Sunnyslope Church of God in Christ, Mennonite.
