Sunrise Community Church (Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada)

The Sunrise Community Church at Regina, SK began services in 1989 and formally organized in 1992. Gary Sawatzky and Maurice Vellacott are considered the founding leaders of the group. The congregation originated as a daughter congregation of Parliament Community Church.

The congregation had dissolved by 1996. The congregation had been affiliated with the Saskatchewan Conference of Mennonite Brethren Churches (1992-), the Canadian Conference of Mennonite Brethren Churches and the General Conference of Mennonite Brethren Churches. The language of worship was English.

The congregation was located at 2710 Helmsing St., Regina, SK. Pastor Gary Sawatzky served in 1994 as a congregational leader. In 1994 there were 16 members.
